Photos May Appear Blurry

While you edit your ad, the images will appear in a low resolution form as they are added to the ad.  This allows the design area to load faster than it would if the full image resolution was displayed.  If the image is truly low resolution, a red exclamation mark will appear in the top left corner. You can also view the resolution by viewing the bottom of the Properties menu .  We recommend 300 DPI, but it should not be lower than 200. 

Missing Design/ Edit Buttons

If you are unable to see the Design or Edit or Submit buttons in Design, it could be because:

  1. Ad Blocker is turned on

a. Certain ad blockers may block the buttons that allow you to open the Pictavo ad design tool. If you do not see the option to design your ad after purchasing, please disable your ad blocker for our site.

2. Your ad has already been submitted to the yearbook staff.

3. Your school’s ad deadline has passed.
